District 2 consists of 5 Ancient Free and Accepted Masonic Lodges under the Grand Lodge of Virginia.  Those Lodges are:

• Hamilton-Thompson No. 37 (Hamilton / Round Hill consolidation) — Hamilton Lodge No. 37 and Thompson Lodge No. 145 merged on July 1, 1994 to form Hamilton-Thompson Lodge No. 37
• Olive Branch No. 114 (Leesburg) — charter dated September 14, 1797.
• Freedom No. 118 (Lovettsville) — re-chartered / dispensation January 18, 1892 (Freedom Lodge history; original hall built 1869; went dark 1890 then re-opened).
• Herndon No. 264 (Herndon) — charter granted December 9, 1897 (initial dispensation as Freedom Lodge No. 264).
• Ashburn-Sterling No. 288 (Ashburn/Sterling) — lodge origin May 10, 1905; charter issued 1906.   Ashburn Lodge No. 288 and Sterling Lodge No. 268 consolidated on December 4, 1997, forming Ashburn-Sterling Lodge No. 288.
